On January 5, 2022 at approximately 1:30am, Officers from the Pomona Police Department -responded- to call regarding a victim of a shooting in the 700 block of E. Holt Ave. Upon arrival, a male adult was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was treated on scene by LA County Fire Department personnel and transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Homicide Detectives from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to assume the investigation. The investigation is on-going and the motive for the shooting is unknown. There is no suspect information at this time.
