The Inaugural Food Cart Week Has Begun!

Portland, OR—If you're in the Northwest, here's your opportunity to sample a variety of food and drink events in the Portland region, including Portland's inaugural Food Cart Week, which celebrates the city's exquisite food culture. The event was organized in partnership with Travel Portland partnered with The Oregonian. Earlier this month on April 6, 2022, Portland’s city council declared April to be Food Cart Month.

In attendance, 5 prominent Portland Chefs who engaging in a tasting session to benefit No Kid Hungry at FINEX Cast Iron Cookware factory this week. Chefs Carlo Lamagna of Magna, The Oregonian's 2021 Restaurant of the Year, Karl Holl of Smith Teamaker, Troy Maclarty of Bollywood Theater, Thomas Pisha-Duffly of Gado Gado, and Scott Dolich of Stone Soup PDX will be serving local beer, wine, cocktails, and zero-proof beverages for $50 per person, with all proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry.

A List of Food Cart Pods: Slabtown, Cartlandia, Carts on Foster, Fifth Avenue, Eastport Food Center, Cartside, Killingsworth Station, Cart Blocks, PSU Blocks (Portland State University), Park the Carts, Pioneer Courthouse Square Barley Pod, Hawthorne Asylum, Portland Mercado, Cartopia, Prost Marketplace, Rose City Food Park, St. Johns Food and Beers Porch, and The Lot at John’s Marketplace, and Nob Hill.
