On 08/28/22, Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to the area of the 2400 Blk. of Angela St for a reported victim of a shooting. Responding officers found a male adult suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the alley. The victim was pronounced deceased at the location by LA Co. Fire personnel.

Homicide Detectives from the Pomona Police Departments Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The motive for the shooting is unknown and no suspects have been identified. This is not believed to be a random attack.
