VICTIMS: 1 Male Adult deceased (identification withheld pending notification of kin) A second Male Adult was injured but is expected to recover from his injury.

On 07/19/22, Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to the area of the 900 Blk of W. Mission Blvd for a reported victim of a shooting. Responding officers found 2 male adults seated in a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to a local hospital via ambulance but unfortunately one of the men succumbed to his injuries.
Homicide Detectives from the Pomona Police Departments Major Crimes Unit responded and assumed the investigation. The motive for the shooting is unknown and no suspects have been identified. This is not believed to be a random attack.
